Dredging sediments in a gold mine
In a gold mine in Turkey it was necessary to free an artificial basin from the accumulated sediments.
Problem
The customer needed a handy tool that could be operated remotely. Furthermore, it was essential to avoid damage to the plastic coating that covered the pelvis.
Solution
Dragflow has proposed a DRP18 radio-controlled dredge with reduced dimensions but great performance. The dredger was equipped with a EL12.5 SS electric pump; the dredging depth was 20 meters and the production of 60 m³/ hour and solid concentration up to 50%. Finally, the pump filter has been modified to preserve the plastic coating. The gold mine never had to stop the business, with great customer satisfaction.
