Oil sludge treatment

The end user, an Argentine company that provides services to the oil industry, was looking for the appropriate equipment for the remediation of a refinery’s settling basins. The material to be removed was made up of oil sludge (mixed with crude oil).

Our distributor has supplied two EL12.5 SS submersible electric pumps with high pressure water jets capable of discharging a flow rate of 50 m³/h with a solid concentration greater than 50% by volume. The efficiency of the pumps shows that the Dragflow instruments are absolutely adequate for the management of oil sludge.
